Centurion come and take my hand.
See the nail scars on this man.
Hear me speak, recognize my voice?
The one you’d serve if you had a choice!
Rise up centurion from your bended knee.
All has been forgiven, you have trusted Me!
Now go and tell your brothers all before they die.
Don’t let them all believe any more of Satan’s lies.
Centurion, till this day you have served your king.
You’ve found One Greater who can be your everything!
Tomorrow you won’t see me but I’ll be here everywhere.
Whenever you need me just lift up a little prayer.
That centurion walked away later, laughing loud some say.
The joy in his heart made him act in that strange way.
He had determined in his heart to serve a brand new King.
The one who made the sky, the Earth, the Lord of Everything!

As always with your poetry, very nice write. The visual is broad, and fills one with immeasurable hope. I enjoyed this, thank you. |
