Here I am,
the same thing i hear
that sound heard from a mile,
what can it be?
Only thing i hear is that sound
absolute blasphemy.
am i the only one
am i insane?
i think not,
it tells me of things that has happened
in the quiet years of the past
beyond my help
i cannot deal
cannot live with it
it sends my actual life to a stand still
cannot work, eat, nor sleep
Where am I?
For i do not know
it is a trick of that voice
taking over..

'That Sound' is a cool poem. I also write poems just as they flow out of me. Sometimes, later -- even years -- the poem begins to make 'sense.' And sometimes it doesn't. Fine poem! --Flint
