i would rather things be different, thats not a lie.
we were closer before; you and i.
so please dont cry forth on greed or lust
but rather on the fact that we're no longer us.
give some hope, i will fix it so
you neednt worry or live so low.
when happiness comes, it tends to falter
but as time goes on it will get stronger
i wont hold you down as a gravestone does
or keep you caged; you dont deserve such.
but rather you free as you're supposed to be
and hope someday you'll show you love me.
