Anger, Hostility, Pain and War...
All these thoughts come knocking at my door.
They burrow and seep under my skin,
as the flames of Rage burn brightly within.
What can I do to sate this ravenous hunger?
Do I turn a blind eye or should I rip you asunder?
I ask myself as patience runs thin,
You play your games but Ill never let you win.
You wish to see me bend, and bow to your will.
But when will you learn, that you'll never get that thrill.
If you thought you could hurt me, you have been sorely misled,
all I wish from you is for you to just drop dead

This stand alone by itself poem
clearly shows the pain and frustration
I have heard coming from the lips
of almost every man going through
a divorce! You have captured that
here for all to see and understand,
and sympathize. As human beings,
we have all felt these same emotions
at times in our lives.
Blessings,
Robert Edgar Burns (Rob) |
