I open the door
To greet the smell of bitter-sweet.
On the table is a tasty treat.
Made from scratch,
and made with love,
Is above,
The best apple pie.
I do not lie!
you should try!
I bet grandma won't mind,
If she finds,
Only crumbs left on plate.

'grandma's pie' is a delightful and warm poem. I read it twice -- it was so much fun. Cute and filled with love (and pie:) --David
