You know what you did and you were the first, to give me what others could not
Though many before you had tried and had failed, and that makes you come out on top
You gave me your time and comforted me, attentive - my body you touched
Turning me on, making me shiver to the brink that was almost too much
But you never quit, you kept me so warm, relaxed me and you persevered
Was it all you or my feelings too? You made me forget all my fears
Taking your time, pretending you're mine, you rocked me and made me so free
One night of passion was worth all the hurt, engulfing, colliding you see
All the right moves, a skill you possess, or was it me who turned you on?
Your closeness I embraced, for once not one way, this feeling you gave me so strong
Made me complete and make me feel real, your fingers and lips so in tune
So I'm thanking you for how you gave me that feeling no others could do
