I wish I can explain
I wish you would understand
Whenever we spoke at night
My cell phone never rang

There were never any calls
There were never any texts
I knew you never believed me
And you were always vex

I lied to you before, which I regret
I am sorry, please forgive me and forget
I know it’s hard, you think I don’t tell the truth
How can I convince you? What you want me to do?

You said she never lied to you
I hope I’m not your regret
Why was I compared?
Then why have we met?

I find your poem moving and the topic strangely familiar. An enjoyable read, thank you.
