lost and lonely
no one cares
i drift from one
i look around me
everyone stares
lost and lonely
no one cares
cold and scared
stars shine down
wind is howling
am out of town
shelter i seek
trees creak
its eerie here
cold and lonely
no one cares
a lost soul
in the darkest night
to scared to sleep

Welcome to YPDC.
Great writing. It's sad tho but many are homeless and I'm sure more will be.
'Cept for the grace of God it could be me.
Huggs, blessings, prayers,

'Homeless' is a dynamic poem -- of a type we rarely see. You express the subject in stark small words -- words that have the sound of fear and poverty.
The situation of the homeless gets worse each day. There is little we can do for the homeless, but whatever you do is appreciated.
