One Solitary Tear

Contributed by The_Phantom on Sunday, 4th August 2002 @ 07:06:08 AM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

I sit here all alone,
Watching the water, wishing you were home,
Feeling the cool evening breeze,
Listening to the ocean sing to me,

Seeing the water so clear and blue,
Remembering when I first lied eyes on you,
The sunlight reflecting of your beautiful hair,
Coming towards me as if you were walking on air,

I glance into the water as fish play chase,
While my mind drifts off to a special place,
I watch a seagull or two,
And fall asleep dreaming of you,

I hear the waves crashing against the shore,
Once I hold you near I shall want no more,
The feel of your touch,
The memories are almost too much,

But since your not here,
I cry a solitary tear,
I'm just watching the ocean of blue,
Sitting here waiting for you.

Forever Faithful
The Phantom

This is a very beautiful poem. Feels like you don't have good luck w/ relationships either. Please read my 2 poems, "Daddy Did It" and "Our Love"
