THE CURE

Topic: HumorPoetry

I never met - a - Mucil
Have you?
But sometimes they can help
Till things get flowing through.
I never met - a - Mucil,
Have you?

I went and saw My-lanta
Last night.
I played around with him,
Until things got really tight.
I went and saw My-lanta
Last night.

I saw my friend Vi-Agra,
That’s right!
He’d grown an inch or two
In height.
If ever you are down
Don’t need to wear a frown.
Just see my friend Vi-Agra,
That’s right!

I met my buddy Jim Beam
Down town.
I laughed so much I became
A clown.
With my pants around my feet,
While I was walking down the street.
I met my buddy Jim Beam
Down town!

If you want to hear me snore
Send Al Gore.
He can’t believe what he’s preaching,
I’m sure.
Watching his movie any night
You will escape when they dim the lights.
If you want to hear me snore
Send Al Gore!

I like it! I never met a Mucil but I have needed help from Vi (personal friend of mine) a time or two

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
