I was touched by a mother,my friend,
the days I remember well,
touched by her till the very end,
something no one could ever sell,
the lasting love that she gave,
will be close to me,
all the memories we so save,
will just be a memory,
all those arguements done with love,
then I never knew,
but now I am sure of,
the love I got from you,
a mothers love by just a simple touch,
is not so very rare,
their heart is blessed so much,
it proves they care,
Those precious times we take for granted,
slip through our hand,
like a seed thats never planted,
now Mom, I understand,
The touches you gave me,
I'll keep forever dear,
because now they're just a memory,
of all the passing years,
Touched by a mother,I do recall,
gave me the love I share today,
and if I ever should fall,
I'll remember all she had to say,
I will keep those words as a lasting gift,
close inside my soul,
a mothers love is a great uplift,
I will live out that goal,
Even in heaven you still touch me,
your words are set in stone,
my mothers lasting memory,
stuck with me as I've grown!
