Who knows the words which the songbird sings?
Who places breezes which lift their wings?
Who knows each sparrow before it falls?
Who invented the whippoorwills call?
Who taught the lizards to frolic in the sun?
Who teaches squirrels to save for when there’s none?
Who makes the bear cubs get ready for their naps?
Who pouched the babies in kangaroos laps?
Who taught the fishes to glide so gracefully,
In waters, ponds and oceans, and every single sea?
Who makes the penguin always wear a tux?
Or the spear on a swordfish, why does it never rust?
Who loves the creatures that live on land and sea?
The same One who molded every you and every me.
Out of al ofl creation, there’s just one that made Him sad.
But He forgives us now and waits for us as Dad!
In the voice of the songbird we can find His grace.
In the eyes of a newborn we can see His face.
We can hear His voice in the rustling of the wind.
And just like the songbird He calls us unto Him!
