My Love Dove

I hear your chirps before I sleep
And hug your feathers once a week
Your whistles are loud and clear
It brings music to my ear

Oh my love, we’re paired can’t you see
You were the one who helped me
Spread my wings so I can fly
After all this white Dove was too shy

You cleared the way for me to see
A bright future for you and me
We will build a nest and nurture our eggs
Provide comfort and make their beds

Eventually these eggs will fly on its own
And it will be time to give up our throne
We will be called upon the master to serve another life
And there we will go to him side by side

Oh! My Love Dove
I hope these are not dreams
Or else life is not what it seems
Oh! My Love Dove
