the criers call revoloution
in the air
spouting pollution
for me to stir
vultures peck the boots
the streets a wreck
and the lover loots
on a jokers deck
the dice roll on crooks
worms watch the radio
and potatoes listen books
the mosque seems full of empty
and the church rid of flies
i cant read the news
the lies
no more
so i stand in still track
blood on my back
my hands like earth
and my face does lack
stretched out sullen
sunny dullen
lamplight pours
and the ground soaks
a distant crow caws
