She is just an ordinary girl common like most
Always one to lend a hand, never to brag or boast
Haven't seen her with a guy, especially at school
But once you knew her, you knew you were fooled
She is just an ordinary girl
Such a cute girl you can tell without a doubt
And a guy about to try and see what this girl is all about
First its starts with a hi and ends with a smile
Maybe chasing after this mystery will be worthwhile
She is just an ordinary girl
As time passes by we start to see each other more
Making our own inside jokes, laughing, literally rollling on the floor
Going out together, running just for a hug from afar
Her gentle eyes seen me and lit up like the North star
She may not be just an ordinary girl
Now I feel a tingle as her presance takes my breath away
If it wasnt for school i'd end up missing her more everyday
Until one day she broke the silence of my heart
Now alll my heart wants to talk about is us together, not apart
She isn't just an ordinary girl
Kept telling her ordinary to extraordinary, but its actually true
Started falling in a constant cycle like the sun and the moon
Getting used to the goodbye's and the i love you's at the end
While I lay back thinking that this moment can't be pretend
She isn't just an ordinary girl
Gaining new life with her as the old one couldn't compare
To the one and only thing that decided to show me they cared
Never have I been fooled, thinking this reality could last
Guess the person that made me happy was just wearing a mask
She may be just an ordinary girl
Fight for her back, my heart was shining armor to a knight
They say chivalry is dead, while I proved that wrong not right
Looked in the sky for the answers I couldn't get from you
Instead I stared at the moon hoping you were looking at it too
She was just an ordinary girl
The girl could turn a diamond into a necklace of pearls
Had me boggled up, emotions in a downward spiral
Lost whats right wondering what I did wrong
You can change the lyrics but not the melody to the song
She was just an ordinary girl
