I wondered who I was that day
he first set eyes on me
I wondered who he thought I was
kissing me so tenderly
I couldnt think of who I was
with him right by my side
I couldn't see what he saw in me
that made his emotions rise
I pondered who I really was
as i fell into his embrace
I questioned how he looked at me
if his admiration would stay
When I let go and let sink in
who I could be with him
I thought I found just who I was,
a part of me I hadnt known then
But when he left me all alone
I no longer had to wonder again
What it was he saw in me
or the person I loved to be with him

i guess its true parts of us are different with each person
if even in a small way, learning to identify these parts of us
