Chaos before the Dawn

Jump head-first into the black... never pausing to look back,
A broken smile...it leads the way... sending distant thoughts astray,
chaos wins and light is gone... you're always lost until you're wrong...
but when you find your inner strength... the world will bend and it will quake...
and out of cold and black despair...a fear you will no longer bear...
will shed itself and join the night... for when this feeling grips you tight...
its greatest strength is also weak... and with a cold and hollow shriek...
this feeling will pass through your bones... and in your marrow you will moan...
A darker side... a distant storm... must always come before the morn.

Really good poem. Facing fears, or kinda like a storm that comes and goes, makes everything more beautiful than it was before. |

Good use of imagery and metaphor
I saw this poem rather than read it
and can relate its better and more enjoyable
to just go with the flow. |
