In the fathomless deep,
Where I was resigned,
waters crushing embrace,
I thought had burst my eyes.
Suffocating in Darkness
pleasantly immobile
Immune to everythiing
Except The Cold currents caress
A glimmer, a blinding light
stirred rage in my chest
In my ocean of darkness,
My sea of numbing ice.
A happily searching hand
poked me in the eye
In fury, in antedeluvian agony
I arose from a shallow pond
To a garden of delights.

this is a good poem. It teels us about how we feel awept away, until we realize that we were just waiting, or searching, for that person to come and lift us up, and make us be better. Really good. I liked it. |
