18 Wheels!

Contributed by LOWMAN613 on Thursday, 1st May 2003 @ 08:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Event

18 wheels going down the road,
making time to drop his load,
Country music playin on the radio,
traffics moving oh so slow,
the smell of diesel in the air,
rolling down the road without a care,
checking out all the other rigs in sight,
when we stop to crash for the night,
wakeing to the sound of other trucks going by,
trying to rub the sleep from my eye,
hearing the engines roar,
vibrations on the truck floor,
the jake brake, ringing in my ear,
hoping the next stop will be near,
driving on the open road, letting it pass me by,
looking out the window In this big yellow semi!
