You take your marks and wait.
The suspence is killing you, then
the buzzer sounds and you dive off.
You feel that it was a good start.
You don’t dare look at the others,
All you hear is the tranquilities of the water,
the air being released underwater.
A wall comes up you panic of cutting short.
But you didn’t, you flip and push off.
You finally look at the others,
you see you are ahead. You hear a faint,
cheer of your name. You feel tired, but
you must keep going. You take your
last breathe and go faster.
Relief comes when you touch the wall,
You try to catch your breathe,
with a big grin on your face.
Everything seems so surreal, but you
Did it and that’s all what matters.
