SNOW FOR SUNSHINE?

It’s raining in my back yard.
But the front yard is perfectly dry.
I’m sitting in a lawn chair.
Catching Florida sunshine.
Oranges swaying on my orange trees.
Tangerines just bursting with wine.
The lemon trees are pretty.
Soaking up some warm sunshine.
I watched here on my T.V.,
Saw the snow was falling up north.
Turned on the air conditioner,
Glad I don’t live in New York.
I’m lookin up at the sky.
One that is a perfect blue.
There’s not a cloud that I can spy.
Drank some fresh squeezed Florida sunshine.
If I could send you sunshine,
By simply writing these words that I say.
Then I would send more writes to you,
Each and every air conditioned day.
My love’s right here beside me.
My heart is full on this beautiful day.
You’re walking around in snow boots.
I’m barefoot in the sand today!
