mist
no-color-grey
eyes
fade
in'wards'
on
more
than one
way
to
get almost
anywhere
never
left my
pen
truer
pay-attention
words
squaw-mint
and
musk
spirit
of land
grace
of
life clean
woods
and
silent nights
She
may
abhor a
vacuum
but
she cleans
Her
own
with
might!

'empress,' i can't help saying, 'impresses' me as a superb poem. Enigmatic -- as always -- this time, with threads that seem gray -- until the end -- where it seems we are suddenly woven with an unexpected red. There is no 'vacuum' here; the poem is filled with -- well, things ming -- engrossing All -- and full -- of life. --David |
