Thinking too hard,
Nothing comes to mind,
Waiting for a perfect line…
Words slowly words begin to appear
Like the steam on a bathroom mirror.
Vapors form in my mind
Idea clouds inspire me to rhyme.
Finally, I get the words on paper
Slowly the vapors fade away.

Nice! Love the 'vapor' line. It popped for me...

'Trying to Write' is a special poem to which I think most of us can relate. "The steam on the bathroom mirror" is a familiar face; it diffuses before we can quite write it... yet here is the paradox. The steam, despite it's wont, is taken. And here the steam becomes stream -- ever to flow from pen to paper. Vapor, here, seems Victory. Great poem. Clear. Visit. --David
