It makes me laugh
So hard I cry.
Such happy tears
Flow down from eyes.
They make me take
Deep gulping breaths.
And I like those kinds
Better than the rest.
It makes me happy.
It makes me glad.
Helps me forget,
That times are bad.
It is comedy
That suspends my strife.
It’s whole name is,
Comedy Of Life.
So if you laugh,
And at the same time cry,
It just enhances
That sparkle in your eyes!

Ah the duality of comedy and pain. Like the line about comedy suspending pain. Suspend is the perfect word there. Nice.
