I wear my heart out on my sleeve.
I am so easy for you to read.
My innermost soul is in your care,
Opened up to you, it is always bared.

My life displayed as an open book
Opened now so you will take a look.
So won’t you look with me today?
You’ll find your name on every page.

One thing that I must ask of you.
Won’t you open up your book please too?
So that I readily may truly see,
Just exactly what you think of me.

Possibly then I shall understand.
What could attract you to this man.
And I would do whatever it took,
To have you join me in Our book!

If our children open and turn a page,
May they only find great love not rage.
If encouragement’s needed, it should be no fuss,
To simply open “The Book Of Us”!
