A Princely Favor

Contributed by kcrysten on Thursday, 3rd November 2011 @ 06:27:05 AM in AEST
Topic: anguished

Upon his stallion he came to me
Offering his shield, he protected me

Gave me strength when weakness succumbed over me
Believing his love would carry me

Words of protection and security he said to me
Truly encompassing what he gave to me

Courage and confidence he instilled in me
Pride and worth he provoked in me

Everything I had, I gave to him
He took it and made me believe in him

All the doubts and fears I disclosed to him
The worries and anxieties, I confided in him

Out poured my love, I toasted to him
With adoration and devotion I bestowed to him

After a cheers to my heart, he paused to look at me
And with a wave of his hand he said "I am done with thee"

Tender hearted. Holding back
nothing from your beloved.
Having your heart handed
back to you, but only small
pieces at a time! A poet
in the making!

Blessings,
Rob

The users use
and
the givers get abused
it's a never ending cycle,
hang on
it's a long ride...
