Like a masterpiece in a gallery,
Your pain hangs on your face.
In spite of contrived smiles,
It follows you everyplace.
Your eyelids hang like a boulder,
Ready to come crashing down.
The whites now red in color,
But still you wear no frown.
And in your near exhaustion,
I fear you will collapse.
Put your head on my shoulder
While resting in my lap.
Let me wrap my arms around you.
Dear, in my love please rest.
I want to share in your struggle.
Just put me to the test.
And if some day your smile is real,
The pain long gone, and now you feel,
You want to share that with me too,
Then I’ll be glad for I need you!

Very touching write. It's full of compassion just one reason I feel honored to be your friend and #1 fan.
