Suicide

If I died today
Would you weep for me
Or would you say
'tis a shame
and walk away
As my spirit weeps in darkness
If I died today
Would you remember me
Or would I be gray?
No different from the rest
While my soul is slowly withering
If I died today
Would I really care?
Take me away
Is what I say
As my finger sets on the trigger

Reminds me of a story/poem I read of someone who was admired, looked up to, confident etc. From the outside, he had the perfect life. But the last sentence of the poem stated his suicide. I liked it, very nice poem |
