TO HAVE AND TO HOLD
'TIL DEATH DO US PART
IT'S NOT SET IN STONE
BUT IT'S SET IN OUR HEARTS.

WE HAVE OUR SHARE OF PROBLEMS
AS COUPLES SOMETIMES DO
OVERCOMING THE OBSTACLES
PROVING OUR LOVE IS TRUE.

WE'VE RECOVERED FROM MANY THINGS
OUR FAMILY'S BEEN NEARLY BROKEN
WE'VE OVERSTEPPED SOME BOUNDARIES
CAUSING PROBLEMS LEFT UNSPOKEN.

WE'VE BECOME EASIER TO ANGER
AND QUICK TO PLACE THE BLAME
OUR KIDS ARE STARTING TO SUFFER
DUE TO OUR SELFISHNESS AND SHAME.

WE MUST LEARN TO TALK THINGS OUT
STOP BOTTLING THINGS UP INSIDE
AS ADULTS--THERE'S NO NEED TO POUT
BUT LEARN TO SWALLOW OUR PRIDE.

COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY
FOR A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP
COMPROMISE, RESPECT, & HONESTY
LEADS TO EQUAL PARTNERSHIP.

I WILL TRY TO BE MORE CAREFUL
WITH THE BATTLES I PICK WITH YOU
WE NEED YOU TO BE MORE THOUGHTFUL
WITH WORDS THAT ARE HURTFUL TOO.

I MADE A FINAL DECISION
QUITE SOME TIME AGO
OUR FAMILY IS MOST IMPORTANT
NEVER AGAIN WILL I DOUBT IT SO.

FORGIVE AND FORGET
THAT'S WHAT THEY ALWAYS SAY
LET'S WORK PAST ALL OF THIS
"TOGETHER' OUR FAMILY MUST STAY.

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD
'TIL DEATH DO US PART
IF NEVER SET IN STONE
IT WILL STAY IN OUR HEARTS.
