Good Moments Gone Away

I get lost in the good moments that used to be there
they all gone now and I feel it's unfair

All the good times I had are only a distant memory now
they all ended and I don't know how

I can't seem to let go of the good times
I don't know I just can't they seem to bring joy to me sometimes

I thought these times would never end
I still believe things will go back but I can no longer pretend

Like those times are coming back tomorrow
they gone but at times that's all I got to follow

To guide me through life when I'm feeling low
people that are no longer in my life saying hello

Hoping all those times would hold strong
thinking at the time that nothing could go wrong

I guess I was wrong though
those times just went out the window

And they ain't coming back so I need to lose hope
Stop holding on cuz there ain't nothing there on the other side of the rope
