SOMEDAY

Topic: fantasy

Someday they shall write a new story.
A novel that all eyes shall see.
It will be the grandest love story.
The main character's are you and me!

It will show how a man loved a woman.
How he gladly would bow at her feet.
For he thought that her beauty transcended,
Anything else on two feet.

The book will contain many pages.
For we live out a chapter each day.
And on each one of those pages,
Are the words that to her he would say.

He’ll tell her of his adoration.
And that nothing could tear him away.
He tells her his love is eternal.
And he hopes she will feel the same way.

We won’t read the book in this lifetime.
For we will have lived on each page.
But if love is eternal in your life,
We’ll read it together in Heaven someday!
