I see you in dreams up on a stage,
A beauty frozen in my gaze.
Your voice like an angel in my ear.
It’s the only sound I care to hear.
My secret love for you grew strong.
In my heart you put this love song.
In my dreams I always find,
It’s you who occupy’s my mind!
I fell much deeper as time got longer.
But my fear of rejection is getting stronger.
I melt like butter when I see your face.
And I dream of giving you diamonds and lace.
I know that you have become my wife.
I couldn’t love another as you in my life.
You gave yourself to me as my ultimate gift.
So I’ll never have to say the words “What If?”
