Standing still
I am tarmac and blue
Ineffable eyes
Finding for the first time
The end of love
Sitting at the memory
Of childhood thoughts
The sun across black
Uncertain fields
The terror of a depression
Tunneled by the sea
As a child
I would sit on a stone wall
And dream
The sun would set itself
In two
Identical shells
Until my father whistled
Then I would go home

Wonderfully written and there is so much more beneath the surface...Something as beautiful and tranquil as the ocean taking you somewhere no one else can take you...This was a pleasure to read
