I hear my voice call out your name,
While I’m staring at the wall.
And how I wish it you who came,
Instead of my returning echoed call.
There is one thing on my mind,
It matters not what I do.
The picture framed inside my heart
Is a masterpiece done of you.
I know you will return love,
For you’ve not been gone too long,
But still I will be selfish,
And at the same time will be strong!
On that day you became my wife,
I hope that all could see,
The one who loved you most in life,
Would always of course be me!
I’d like to write a love song,
Like Jon Denver used to do.
About a girl named Annie,
But it’s your name chiming through.
My senses do fill up with you,
Like a blue Colorado sky.
Take me to your country road.
You’re my Rocky Mountain high!
