Can't you hear her screams
As she lies slowly dying?
Bound by a fate,
She did not choose,
But rather,
One that we created.
Choking on toxic fumes.
Her death is our own.
Yet we turn away,
Yet we let her die.
It was us who let her die,
Yet we walk away.
She bakes in the heat,
Scars litter her body,
In our constant mining
For her blood.
We left it too late,
To help her.
She's dying.
It's all our fault.
Our Mother Earth,
Is dying.
