Equality In the U.S. of A.
Equality
in the U.S.A.,
I'm sorry to say,
"It's a joke!"
A mockery and travesty
of our Declaration!
Ain't no doubt who's wearin'
the yoke!
A person with a dollar
gotta' spend it on milk and bread,
While a person with a million can amplify
the voice inside their head;
When there ain't no equality of voice,
there ain't no freedom of choice,
'cuz when only money can be heard,
they're both dead!
Equality
in the U.S.A.,
I'm sorry to say,
"It's a joke!"
A mockery and travesty
of our Constitution!
Ain't no doubt who's wearin'
the yoke!
Looks to me like
in "The Nation Under God,"
Some people are more equal
than others!
There ain't nobody
ever hears,
The precious voice
of our working mothers!
What ever it is these mothers
are free to say
The bankrolled elité
easily smothers!
Equality
in the U.S.A.,
I'm sorry to say,
"It's a joke!"
A mockery and travesty
of our Declaration!
Ain't no doubt who's wearin'
the yoke!
Tell me: Where is equal justice,
under the law
When our Supreme Court gives corporations
citizenship?
How can a common man outshout all this manipulative corporate ****?
How can they stand shoulder to shoulder
wearin' a bridle and a bit!
Equality
in the U.S.A.,
I'm sorry to say,
"It's a joke!"
A mockery and travesty
of our Constitution!
Ain't no doubt who's wearin'
the yoke!
Obviously we're not talkin' 'bout
Freedom of Speech!
We're talkin' 'bout the amplification
of speech!
Naw! We ain't talkin' 'bout
an innocent day at the beach!
We're talkin' 'bout the habits of a
blood-suckin' leech!
Equality
in the U.S.A.,
I'm sorry to say,
"It's a joke!"
A mockery and travesty
of our Declaration!
Ain't no doubt who's wearin'
the rich man's yoke!
Don't be taken in by their sound bites
and talking points;
Don't swallow their well spun
half truths and lies;
These "Patriots" are playin' you for the fool
and laughing all the way to the bank,
While "The Nation Under God"
slowly dies...
Equality
in the U.S.A.,
I'm sorry to say,
"It's a joke!"
A mockery and travesty
of our Constitution!
Ain't no doubt who's wearin'
the rich man's yoke!
Yeah! And when parents are wearin' the yoke,
the children are, too!
And that's somethin' needs to be corrected
by me and you!
Equality
in the U.S.A.,
I'm sorry to say,
"It's a joke!"
A mockery and travesty
of our Declaration!
Ain't no doubt who's wearin'
the rich man's yoke!
Ain't no doubt who's wearin'
the rich man's yoke!
Yeah! Our children are wearin'
the rich man's yoke!

A wonderful poem. The rhymes go along with this particular structure very well.
And you are right: there is so much difference between the FREEDOM OF SPEECH and the AMPLIFICATION OF SPEECH. That really makes me wonder.
Peace
