THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT YOU
THAT NOBODY COULD RESIST
YOU HAD A CERTAIN ATTITUDE
ONLY SURFACED WHEN MESSED WITH

YOU NEVER WENT ANY PLACE
WITHOUT SEEING SOMEONE YOU KNEW
QUICK TO PUT A SMILE ON THEIR FACE
JUST BY BEING YOU

SUCH A CHEERFUL SMILE
A LAUGH WE’LL NEVER FORGET
ALWAYS WENT THE EXTRA MILE
EVEN FOR THOSE YOU’D JUST MET

DETERMINATION AND DEVOTION
MORE QUALITIES YOU POSSESSED
NEVER GAVE UP ON ANYTHING
THEN YOU WERE PUT THRU THE TEST

YOU FOUGHT FOR SO LONG
STRUGGLED FOR YOUR LIFE
YOU PROVED SO MANY WRONG
AT LEAST ONCE OR TWICE

GOOD DAYS WERE REALLY GOOD
THE BAD DAYS GOT REALLY BAD
YOU DID WHAT YOU COULD
WITH THE STRENGTH YOU STILL HAD

WHEN YOU FELT THE FIGHT WAS OVER
AND PAIN FREE DAYS TO COME
YOU SHOWED THE GREATEST STRENGTH EVER
TELLING US IT’S TIME TO GO HOME

WE DON’T WANT TO LET YOU GO
BUT RELIEVED YOUR PAIN IS GONE
WE’LL ALWAYS LOVE AND MISS YOU SO
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN
