The tree in the wind

Topic: goodbyepoetry

The tree in the wind blows.
I see it here from where I sit,
Toeing and froing back and fourth,
It gazes out from end to end,
Further than mine eye can see,
But not seeing, not seeing like I..... like me,
Toing and froing back and fourth
The breeze pushing, blowing, touching that wintered tree.

It does not know the pain i feel,
Nor see the pain in him there to be seen
Toing and froing back and fourth
It gazes out from end to end
It sees all but does not see
I watch him there in front of me
Watch what it cannot see
Toing and froing back and fourth
As the wind blows through that tree.

Your view so vast with vantage high
Yet i see more with eyes shut tight
Toing and froing back and fourth
You gaze out from end to end
But I wonder from your point you hold
If care you do at all
About your leaves that seem to drop
To spin to cease to fall
Leaves I see fall down here too
Though different they may be
Leaves falling down in numbers now,
From the man I call my tree.

I see it here from where I sit,
Toing and froing back and fourth,
He gazes out from end to end,
Further than mine eye can see,
But not seeing, not seeing like I..... like me,
Toing and froing back and fourth
The breeze pushing, blowing, touching my blossomed tree.

I see the last leaves on your Branches
The last of the weathered left
Toing and froing back and fourth
As you gaze from end to end
Do you hold them tight those last you have
Whilst you watch all you cannot see
He holds them tight that link to me
They're special to him, his leaves.. My tree

Still you watch your eyes dont faulter
Eyes hidden somewhere underneath
Toing and froing back and fourth,
Gazing from end to end.
Your wind it seems a constant breeze
But mine is picking up
Looking away eyes closed I watch
His leaves fall to my hand, my cup.
This wind has no real direction,
A force you cannot feel or see,
This is a wind only true to him,
Felt by my strength, my rock, my tree.

As the other trees in the wind blow,
I see it here from where I sit,
No longer toing and froing back and fourth
As you gaze from end to end
Only one leaf left held by my tree,
I thought you, that you, you could not see?
The wind billows through the others,
It rattles on the glass,
Yet it does not touch you nor my tree
For a second, Time, it does not pass.
And now I see that you do see,
See true from start to end.
As the last leaf falls off my rock, my tree
Its past what me, what I can mend
You stand silent,
your stillness your gesture,
You feel my sad my pain my ache,
as I watch his last leaf fall,
a sound it does not make.

As The tree in the wind blows.
I see it here from where I sit,
Toing and froing back and fourth,
it gazes out from end to end,
Further than mine eye can see,
Seeing, seeing as I thought it couldn't, seeing like I..... like me,
toing and froing back and fourth
The breeze no longer pushing, blowing, nor touching my blossom tree..
