I promise you I'll be okay, I swear I'll be alright
I'm holding on with all my strength, I'm putting up a fight
But can't you see the sorrow that I hide behind these eyes
If only you were happy, maybe then I'd hear goodbye
I struggle to become someone that nobody can see
And every night, I dream of my invisibility.
Tonight I think I'll end your pain, I'll try to make you glad
I'll smile just like I used to, before all the good went bad.
I'll go into the kitchen and I'll grab the perfect knife
I'll bring it to my lips and I'll create a perfect life.
I'll slide the blade along my skin and do just as you asked
I'll smile just like I should, and you'll be beautiful at last...

This is very good writing even tho it's very sad.
It sounds like who ever is making you feel this way isn't deserving of your time or luv.
These are things that I fight to stay a way from.
Hang in the and believe in yourself.
blessings, huggs,

It's hard to fit someone else's ideals.
I think what this poem has reminded me is that the best person to try and make happy is yourself.......when it comes down to it who else really matters?
