All alone in this place
All because youre too far away
Life moves at such a slow pace
Everything good I've ever had in me has turned to clay
If I were to meet you there
Would you be real?
You are the only one who truly cares
The only one who knows how to make me feel
When I told you I was gone
You simply looked at me and said you knew
You were even singing the same song
Since then, all my emotions flew
Up to the sky I stare at the moon
Can you see what I see?
As you carry on the same tune
I sing the solo to you across the sea
Shedding tears to the sound of a violin
I wait for you till the sun awakes
I do hear the wolves howling
While you are where you await

The title and the poem seems to be at odds with one another... A song to no one seems to be about someone you are waiting for. Perhaps it is for the one who has not yet arrived in your life?
Thought provoking.
Good Write. |
