Still Waiting

Contributed by silent-cry on Thursday, 1st May 2003 @ 12:45:00 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

night after day i wait for you
i miss you...do you miss me too?
you said you will be back soon, that you won't be gone for too long
you asked me not to cry,to be patient,to be strong

you promised you won't be gone for too long, said you will be back soon
and i am still waiting for you, and i ask the shining moon
if it can see you ,if it knows where you are
on what ground you are sleeping, under the eye of what star?

who knows if you are still alive;maybe you are already dead
and nothing is left of you,but your beautiful image in my head
maybe you kept your promise, you're coming back, you're on your way
and the thought of soon hugging you again has got what it takes to make my day...

still waiting.

This is so sad and yet it ends of a beautifully hopeful note. I hope you find him again soon.
