As a famous poet said

Contributed by alicewhite on Saturday, 22nd October 2011 @ 02:34:12 AM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

Here i am
Im wandering in a field
I hear the trees
and as a famous poet said
I wander lonely as a cloud

and the sun
it hurts my eyes
i close them tight
although you know
it makes me happy
to feel gods life in that light

And it glows it glows
and all
of Gods things grow
And it glows it glows
and all
of Gods things grow

So take your tin toy planes
from the sky
and leave the airways
for the birds
the bees
and butterflies

cause i think GOD
he had a plan,
but its slowly being destroyed
by the greedy selfish
hands of man

when are we gonna learn
theres a price to pay
and all our prayers
wont wash away
the wrongs weve done
on judgment day

so take your tin toy soldiers
from the battle field
no weapon man possess
can match the one
our Lord yields

The ones to blame will have no shield
against Gods wrath for the millions theyve killed
penance they face
by our lords grace
consequence for abusing
the human race
then justice restored
we unite in faith

Here i am
Im wandering in a field
I hear the trees
and as a famous poet said
I wander lonely as a cloud.
