when we first met
I wanted to blow you off
just some girl from pride
nothing to special
we texted a bit
but I normally blew you off
back and forth
this cat and mouse game
finally five months later
we go on our first date
we sat there and talked
till the restaurant closed
But I wanted more
I needed to know more
after that night
were hanging out all the time
I make you leave your tooth brush
so you don't sneak away
I love spending time with her
and even her family seems to be fun
I see myself making real plans with you
I wanna see places and explorer
but only with you
my heart and my mind seem to be
getting along at this point
which makes me feel
this could be real for me
and I'm falling head over heels
for the love of my life

uhm. you randomly switch in the middle of your poem from speaking to the subject of the poem (you), to speaking about the subject of the poem (her). then back again.. i really think its important for you to actually experience love and then write about it. until then, please stick to journal entries. better luck next time(: |
