IF EVER WE COULD STAND SO TALL -- by ammar and FlintHunter

Topic: Lifepoems

IF EVER WE COULD STAND SO TALL

If ever we could stand so tall,
To gaze beyond those towering walls,
And see so clearly distant lands,
How well would then we understand
When looking far beyond the names:
The scenes of Life are everywhere the same.

If ever we could hear so well
The faint resounding of the bells
Whose ringing barely touch our ears
How perfectly we'd know -- so clear --
What music lie beneath refrains:
The sounds of Life are everywhere the same.

If could we e'er unveil our hearts,
And so cause hatred to depart,
End wars and battles -- petty rows,
To give ourselves a chance to grow --
And so allow the world to change:
The love of Life is everywhere the same.
The love of Life is everywhere the same.
