Inner Peace
I have drunk of the wine
I have taken of the food
The icon of Jesus does shine
I kneel down before you
Feel heady from the vine
Am replete from the wafer
Lord give me a sign
Show me my family
With you by design
Not down here around me
Allow peace to be mine
I need more fulfilment
The decision is thine
Please let me develop
Continue my line
I need that commitment
My life to define
Or else I will join you
To death I’ll resign
