All my life I've waited for an angel to come down
I hoped and I prayed and somehow I knew
That the day I found him, somehow I'd know
Well it took awhile for me to see the good in you
But something about the way you loved me
Showed me the will and the way to love you
Now I know you're the one, my sweet baby, my angel
And I just wanna spend my life with you
I wanna live, grow old, and die with you
Now it's time you make up your mind, 'cause I've made up mine
Wanna be with you each and every day
Sleep with you and then wake up next to you
Be my angel sent from above
Look down and shower me with love
Open the door to a new life
To the day you make me your wife
Beyond what I've ever felt before
What we'll have is what I've waited for
I know you're the one 'cause since you've been gone
My life is empty and it just feels wrong
So tell me when you're coming home
So together we can build our home
Build a life and make it our own
I'm sick of being all alone
I love you more than I did before
I'll give you all of me and more
Come home to me
'Cause I wanna come home to you
And stay for good
'Cause this distance tears me apart
