Fall leaves change color turning awesome bright,
oft using autumn shades of festive hue.
Perchance to wither waiting winter’s night,
alas to die except a stalwart few.
This light from yonder brilliant eye dimes view,
it softens days and makes the darkness deep.
Duke Morley knows, alas, his time for true
vow be in place, and so now he must keep
pledge made that day for Katharine and James to reap.
That day for Katharine and James to climb
steps three to altar’s bright cross sheen that’s nigh.
Angelic great cathedral peals will chime
in monarch’s lofty tower raised most high.
Gown color’s white, crown stones as like blue sky,
rubies in necklace ever deep cerise.
Then you will nary see an eye that’s dry
when James gives maid kiss, families sign of peace.
Such union, aye, assures that kingdom’s might increase
