Life Without Plight

Oh! I said to God one day,
Please do me a favour;
Remove all the obstacles and tensions from life
So that everyday becomes happy &everything is all right.

My life is so hectic,
with the Hits and Tiffs
coming automatic.
what a relief it would be;
If life would become as smooth as a milk shake,
without giving numerous "Takes"!

Then one day God came in my Dreams,
and said;As you want life
as smooth as cream,
I will grant your wish
so that you don't scream!
But, I screamed in my dream
thanking God fot granting my wish
and true to his word,
when I woke up next morn;
I found the wish really working
As my day got over without a single yawn!
Ah! I thought as my day got over;
this is life,
Each day passing without a single blight!

But my appreciation for such a life
was short lived,
when I that it was a plight;
Life without obstacles was so monotonous
just like a Choir without Chorus!

I pleaded God to take back his favour,
as i found this life without any Flavour!
and there was no new thing to savour!
And to think I would desire to have such a life again....
Never ,Never ,Never!!!

But; I was lucky
As I was given back my normal life,
with that I gave out a big Sigh!
So, my friends,
God has taught me my lesson
and I would like to give you a suggestion;
Never desire to have a life as easy as ABC
as you may not be as lucky as ME!!

haha I LOVE this poem! That is an awesome message! Life would be so drab and boring without conflict and strife! People only appreciate things when they realize what they are worth. Conflict should be appreciated too :)
