Love is a Rose....
Love is a rose.
Soft and gentle.
Sweet and seductive.
Caring and kind.
Binding and blinding.
Captivates the heart and soul of a man.
Never to give it back again....

savoring beauty
sets you free
and that is how,
life's meant to be.
lol I also love white roses. I have always thought a rose is the perfect flower to symbolize love.

Hi, RR,
A short poem needs some rhymes otherwise it does not attract readers. Some year ago, I also read a poem written by Brenda in the same title.
Reads like this:
I sense his mood
by his breathless,
wanting,
captivating stare
he opens me like
a hibernating rose
from the depths of the earth
in he cold hard winter months..........
........
(Is this good?)Your piece needs arrange with rhymes, vows ..why there a sentence ended 'of a man'? i don't like this ending. |
