I love you more than mere words can say
I don’t ever want to leave; just to stay,
With you my dear love every single day
To live and to love to laugh and to play

I cannot begin to describe my true feelings for you
Without you in my life I would surely be blue
This you should know by now in your heart is true
Although honestly I really don’t think you have a clue
How completely and utterly lost I would be without you.

We met long ago and then we went our own separate ways
To what we imagined were our own destinies in earlier days.
But by chance we were re-united by the fates some would say.

I wish that I could tell you that everything is going to be easy and work out just fine
But I can’t and if I ever did that would be a lie
But I can tell you that I am going to try
Because I truly love you
And I want to be with you forever
Until the day that I die
